There are “Certified” and “Uncertified” copies of birth certificates. “Certified” copies are the type that can be used for legal purposes. They have a raised seal and a signature to show they are genuine. “Non-Certified” copies are for informational purposes only. If you are confused, don’t know where these records can be found, or are unable to retrieve your Birth Certificate, we can send a Certified Field Agent to go get it for you.
